For more than a half-century Hyspan has provided advanced motion solutions for Defense vehicles. Land, surface, subsurface, air, and space equipment are supported. Motions can be from thermal, vibration, shock, and hull flex. Solutions include metal bellows, metal hoses, fabric bellows, laminated (multiply) materials, stainless steels, nickel alloys, special liners, engineered flanges, insulations, and other technologies.
We provide engineering, manufacturing, and testing capabilities. Research & development, specialty testing, in-service inspection, installation inspection, replacement manufacturing, and reverse engineering are also available. Products may support MIL-S-901 Shock, NAVSEA Welding, or other unique requirements.

Hyspan is an ISO 9001:2015 registered company with a quality system that supports requirements of various pipe and boiler pressure vessel codes. These include ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, and ASME Section VIII Division 1.
Nondestructive testing and inspections are performed by company personnel including radiography. Quality personnel are certified to the standards of the American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). Hyspan is a member of the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association (EJMA ®).
